HI! I'm Leah


Founder & Instructor at L.A Pilates


You may already know me as your local lab girl! I’ve spent over a decade working in the medical field, but movement has always been the constant thread in my life. I love challenging myself, trying new things, and finding joy in feeling strong and capable in my body. That curiosity eventually led me to Pilates—and once I found these fitness classes, I never looked back.


Why Pilates?


Pilates didn’t just change how I moved; it changed how I felt. It taught me how to slow down, tune in, and build strength with intention. Over time, it became more than a workout—it became a form of self-care, a reset button, and a space where both my body and mind felt supported. It truly helped me strengthen my body in ways I never imagined.

What is Pilates?

Pilates is a form of exercise that focuses on strengthening the core muscles, improving posture, and increasing flexibility. It involves a series of controlled movements that challenge the body while also promoting relaxation and mindfulness. Come on in and see for yourself! Private Sessions

Starting Pilates in a private setting offers personalized instruction tailored to your needs. A private instructor assesses your fitness, corrects imbalances, and ensures proper form, reducing injury risk. You'll receive real-time feedback and learn Pilates terminology, gaining a deeper understanding of each movement. This knowledge is crucial for safe and effective exercise. Mastering these fundamentals in private sessions prepares you for group classes, minimizing injury and maximizing benefits.

Will I need to bring anything?

All you need for your private Pilates session are some sticky socks (bare feet are also good!), comfortable clothing, and water. We’ll take care of everything else — equipment, setup, and the good vibes — so you can focus on enjoying your time, moving, breathing, and feeling amazing as you strengthen your body.

Cancellation Policy

12-Hour Cancellation Policy


We kindly ask for a minimum of 12 hours notice to cancel or reschedule any private Pilates session or fitness classes.


Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the scheduled session, as well as no-shows, will result in the forfeiture of the security deposit. This policy is in place to respect the instructor’s time and to allow availability for other clients looking to book in.


If you are running late, please note that your session will still end at the originally scheduled time to accommodate following appointments.


We understand that life happens. In the case of illness or emergencies, please reach out as soon as possible — exceptions may be considered at our discretion.
